The Taken West
Season: Mid-Spring. There is no sign of snow across the now fresh green grass. Trees are starting to bear more and more fruit, while other vegetation flourishes as well. The temperatue is only to reach a high of 85° and a low of 70°. Hard Times: A fairly minor reason, but because of the time of year, animals are abundant- prey and predator. Any young animal or human should be watched carefully, for predators are numerous with the season.	Welcome! This is a Forum was made about a year ago, but I made the mistake of opening it at the start of school. As the last few months of school pass, I hope to have this forum up and happening! Enter the mid 1800's, western USA. Colonization has taken it's toll one the environment for over 100 years now. The once peaceful plains and hidden forest are ruined by towns. The Native American numbers grow small. They have been forced off their land, which they have cultivated and respected for years. Some have adapted to the "European" ways. Most, however, still hold true to who they are. Animals too have been effected. The wolves, thought to be rabid beasts are often shot. Their numbers, like the Native Americans they hold a special relationship with, are declining. Wild Spanish Mustangs run free, and are often captured and trained by all people of the land. The Town
	The Red Elk Bar A large bar filled with rambling, drunk people. A good place to hang out and talk.	0	0
	The Inn A place for for people to stay if they are on the move.	0	0
	Train Station New people to the area are likely to arrive here by train.	0	0
Bena Forest
	Main Woodlands The main part and largest area of Bena Forest.	0	0
	Minowa Creek A quiet creek that slithers through the Bena Forest. Many stop to take a drink here.	0	0
	Olisa Wetlands At the end of Minowa Creek is a fairly large, murky, swamp like area. Ideals for the brave who wish to be alone.	0	0
	Nodin Field A wide field right in the middle of the forest. For humans, it's easier to travel here. It provides no cover for animals, however.	0	0
	High Hill The closest part of the forest to the town. Someone could easily overlook the town from this exceptionally large hill.	0	0
Tribes Land
	Takoda Plain A small, grassy plain with a few trees that would suite a small Native American Tribe.	0	0
	Lost Stag Plateau A low-lying plateau at the tip of the mountains.	0	0
The Plains
	The Forest's Edge This is the end point to Bena forest, and the begining of the plains. There is a river that neatly divides the two.	0	0
	Shaman Valley A large, grassy valley that is an excellent location for at least two horse herds. This is also the entrance to the mountains.	0	0
